Anxiety

If you overthink, feel overwhelmed, worry about what people think, shut down, feel irritable, second guess yourself constantly, feel like you can never "shut off" your brain, and much more, you might have an anxiety disorder. Do some of these things resonate with you? There are ways to help things feel more manageable.

Couples & Marriage

Couples come to therapy to get better at communicating, sex, friendship, parenting together, compromising, preparing for marriage, dreaming together, connecting, and so much more. Infidelity, infertility, mental illness, grief, divorce, are also things that we can address.

Blended Families

Step-parenting, divorce, custody agreements, step-siblings, joining families. All can be extremely difficult and stressful for us individually, as a couple, and as a family. Therapy can help you navigate these highly stressful and emotional experiences in a way that you can be proud of, even when it feels impossible.

Farmers & Ranchers

While I have a strong respect for farmers and am proud of the ranch lifestyle I came from, I also know farmers and their families carry A LOT of stress from probably taking on more than they need to. They have the attitude of "rub some dirt on it" (which can serve as a great work ethic), but then neglect their mental and physical needs to get the work done. Finding balance is one of many ways therapy can benefit farmers.

Trauma

Individuals who have experienced trauma in their lives can suffer greatly if symptoms aren't addressed. Therapy can help you address symptoms like sleep problems, disregulation, impulsivity, irritability, relationship problems, substance misuse, flashbacks, anxiety, and disconnection related to trauma.

Substance Use Concerns

Substance use affects more than just the individual suffering from addiction. It also causes immense grief and pain for family members and loved ones. While I am not licensed to provide specific treatment solely focused on the treatment of substance use disorders, I am able to provide services to those who may be experiencing codependency, need help processing grief, adjusting to recovery, or who may want to explore changing their drinking or drug use.
